As summer winds down there's still time to read a good book!  Here are some recent staff suggestions:

Bloom and Doom by Beverly Allen As the co-owner of The Rose in Bloom, Audrey Bloom creates magnificent flower arrangements for brides to be. Though helping to plan a wedding can be stressful, it’s nothing compared to the groom turning up dead.

Queen of Hearts by Rhys Bowen Lady Georgiana Rannoch, 35th in line for the British throne, knows how to play the part of an almost royal- but now she’s off to Hollywood, where she must reprise her role as sleuth or risk starring in an all-too-convincing death scene…

Stone Cold by C.J. Box Everything about the man is a mystery: the massive ranch in the remote Black Hills of Wyoming that nobody ever visits, the women who live with him, the secret philanthropies, the private airstrip, the sudden disappearances. And especially the persistent rumors that the man’s wealth comes from killing people.

Island Girls by Nancy Thayer Nancy Thayer returns to her beloved Nantucket in a highly emotional, wholly entertaining tale of three sisters forced to confront the past over one event-filled summer on the island.
